DSC had its first “Next Generation” training day. Children from the local community spent the day at DSC’s Main office located in Buford, Ga. The young pupils got a full tour of the facility lead by CEO William Tidwell where they were shown the ins and outs of a Premier Internet Service Provider and the day to day operations of keeping the Internet running. The students then took part in a questions and answers lecture given by Mr. Tidwell. The lecture covered the history and development of the modern PC, the history of the internet, and the basics of local and wide area networks. To top the day off, Mr. Tidwell treated all the kids to lunch.
