(DSC) is pleased to announce a significant upgrade to its backbone and DSL network. An increased demand for DSC's premium Internet service facilitated the upgrade. The new connection is still a 100 Mbps link; however, instead of connecting to one OC3 it now connects to five OC-48s. The upgraded connection signals faster access to the Internet for DSC clients. Furthermore, DSC has upgraded their DSL backbone connection to an ATM DS3, ensuring that DSC customers can continue to expect lighting-fast DSL connections over the DSC network.
